This comprehensive box set contains expanded, HDCD-remastered versions of all nine studio and live albums the Grateful Dead released during their years with Warner Bros. Records (1965-1973) — including Anthem of the Sun, Aoxomoxoa, Workingman\'s Dead, American Beauty, Europe \'72, and Live/Dead — along with numerous studio outtakes and live tracks. Also included is Birth of the Dead, a two-disc bonus collection of rare, pre-Warner Bros. recordings capturing the band\'s earliest days. In total, the set delivers over 15 hours of music, including roughly 7 hours of previously unreleased material.
The box features the iconic Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley skull-and-roses medallion artwork on its front, and includes a 76-page booklet packed with rare photos, essays, and detailed liner notes chronicling the band\'s history and evolution.
