Numerous engraved plates, in-text illustrations and chapter headings.
Re-backed with original spine laid onto cloth. Boards have some scuffs and surface tears, rubbed edges and joints. Spine rubbed, some loss.Interior age-toned, some signs of handling, but overall good, text is clear throughout. Title page almost detached, and has a tear from gutter half way across.
