HTF Vintage Crosley Model 18-AN Tabletop AM/SW Tube Radio For Sale

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is a hard to find Crosley Model 18-AN Art Deco AM/SW tabletop tube radio that is a great candidate for restoration.  The radio does not power up when turned on, so it will need to be recapped to get it functioning.   As such, the radio is being sold "As Is" for restoration or parts.   Fortunately all of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester, so that can be eliminated from the restoration process.   However, I was unable to test the ballast tube, so that could be part of the issue. All of the knobs are missing, but the stems turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well.  The finish on the body is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax.  The original power cord is in good condition, still flexible. The grill cloth is in good condition, with no rips or holes.
