Wonderful hand-forged iron or steel cooking spatula featuring a pierced heart design in the blade and a beautifully forged curled scroll at the end of the handle for hanging.
The long flat handle displays irregularities and tool marks consistent with hand forging, including decorative paired chisel/notch marks along the handle. The dark aged surface, subtle pitting and handmade character give this piece a wonderful primitive Early American / colonial-style appearance.
