Herend Apponyi Green (Chinese Bouquet) Mini Tureen with Lemon Finial, 1994, Hungary
Hand-painted Herend porcelain mini tureen in Apponyi Green, better known in the US as Chinese Bouquet, with 24K gold accents. Made in Herend, Hungary, dated September 1994.
An elaborately modeled piece. The lid is topped with a dimensional lemon finial complete with sliced fruit and peel, and the body carries raised applied flowers and sculptural handles. The hand-painted green floral decoration is bright and crisp throughout.
Condition: Very good pre-owned. Minor age-related wear to the gold trim, mostly along the rims of the tureen and lid, shown in the photos. No chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing.
