There is some light bumping to the spine ends and corners of the book cover. There is some light fading / toning to the front spine joint. There is a slight slant to the spine of the book. The text pages are generally clean and bright. All three edges of the text block have some ground-in dirt and noticeable foxing. The bottom edge of the text block includes a Simon & Schuster remainder mark. The dust jacket is in generally clean condition, but has several edge nicks, tears and a couple of tiny chips missing, The rear dust jacket cover has a few spots of ground-in dirt and foxing. \"John Baxter (born 14 December 1939 in Randwick, New South Wales) is an Australian writer, journalist, and film-maker. He began writing science fiction in the early 1960s for New Worlds, Science Fantasy and other British magazines.
