An Interesting Pair of Japanese Woodblock Prints
The Thomas N. Fairbanks Company, importer for the United States Envelope Company, had these woodblock prints produced in Japan as samples.
Artist: While the prints are signed \"Hiroshige\", they are variations (knockoffs) of known Shotei designs.
Date: 1920s-30s.
NARUMI: Derives from Takahashi Shotei\'s Moon on Seashore, a Fishing Boat in Front.

TAMAGAWA: Derives from Takahashi Shotei\'s Evening Glow on Pagoda in a Deep Wood.
