This is a Japanese calligraphy artwork featuring a black-ink handprint attributed to Hayao Miyazaki, with his given name written in katakana as ハヤオ (Hayao).
The accompanying vertical calligraphy and red seal are by the calligrapher 須川才之 (Sugawa Saishi), who is known for producing handprint calligraphy works of Japanese cultural figures.

This is not a sumo wrestler’s tegata. It is a Japanese celebrity handprint artwork in the calligraphic tradition.
