I inherited this oil painting from my mom who had it in her home for a long time (decades). She purchased from a very reputable art dealer, Monsignor Hickey from Detroit, Michigan (Monsignor Hickey's Cloister Art Gallery). He collected art for the church and sold it to raise money. He would travel to Italy to the Vatican to obtain famous artworks to sell and brought them back to his huge gallery he had in Detroit. I remember going there as a little girl and just amazed at all the artwork and pieces he had. This is an authentic piece dating back to the late 19th century. Unfortunately, I do not have room to hang all the artwork my mom had. I hope someone will appreciate the beautiful work.
