About Larry Elmore:
Larry Elmore is one of the most iconic fantasy artists of the late 20th century. His career took off in the early 1980s when he became a primary illustrator for TSR, Inc., the original publishers of Dungeons & Dragons. Elmore’s richly detailed paintings helped define the visual aesthetic of D&D throughout its formative years, appearing on rulebooks, modules, and game boxes.
Beyond role-playing art, Elmore is known for his dynamic fantasy illustrations in novels, trading cards, games, and magazines. He created SnarfQuest not just as a comic, but as a showcase for his storytelling and humor. Elmore’s distinctive style — combining dramatic composition with vivid characters — has influenced generations of fantasy artists and continues to be treasured by collectors and fans around the world.
