• Lot of THREE vintage Lionel Santa Fe F3 A-unit body shells
• Two shells marked 2343 on the number boards
• Third shell has no number-board markings and appears to have been repainted
• Two shells have windshield/window inserts; one 2343 shell is missing them
• Headlight lenses are present on all three
• Grab irons/ladders and various trim remain as shown
• Early postwar style with separate roof screen/mesh details
• Heavy age/use wear — dirty, dusty, scratched and scuffed inside and out
• Sold strictly as restoration/parts pieces
• Please examine all photos closely for exact condition and completeness
Vintage Lionel postwar Santa Fe F3 body-shell lot. These came from a large estate train collection and are being sold together exactly as pictured.
Two shells retain their 2343 number-board markings and appear to have their older/original finish. One of those retains its windshield/window inserts, while the other is missing them.
The third shell retains window inserts but has no 2343 markings on the number boards and appears to have been repainted at some point. We cannot verify when or by whom the paintwork was done.
All three show considerable cosmetic wear from age and use, including dirt/dust, scratches, scuffs, paint wear and interior grime. They have not been cleaned or restored. Please assume additional small parts or trim may be missing and use the photographs as the final guide to completeness.
These are BODY SHELLS ONLY — no chassis, motors or running gear included.
