Vintage Lionel Postwar #736 Berkshire 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive with #2046W Whistle Tender, complete with both original boxes as shown.
This beautiful vintage Lionel train came from an extensive collection belonging to a longtime model train enthusiast who regularly operated his trains.
According to the previous owner, the locomotive was working the last time it was used several years ago. However, I have not personally tested the locomotive or tender, so their current operating condition is unknown.
Overall, both pieces are in good vintage cosmetic condition, showing normal signs of age, use, and storage. The locomotive displays nicely with its original detailing, and the tender retains its Lionel Lines lettering.
Both original boxes are included and show age-related wear, creasing, and handling, as pictured.
