Healthy, actively reproducing Daphnia magna culture ideal for feeding juvenile fish, adult fish, amphibians, turtles, and other aquatic animals. Daphnia magna are larger than Moina, making them an excellent live food for medium-sized fish while also serving as a sustainable breeding culture under proper conditions.

Quantities are estimated based on the density of the culture at the time of packing.

• Orders are packed carefully for live arrival.
• Bottles are intentionally not filled completely because Daphnia magna require an air space during transit.
• Bottles are sealed with a tamper-evident security seal.
• Every shipment includes tracking.
• Shipments may be delayed during periods of extreme heat, freezing temperatures, severe weather, holidays, or carrier disruptions. If conditions are unsafe, shipment may be postponed until the next suitable shipping day. You may request cancellation before shipment.

We do not ship to Hawaii due to extended transit times.

We recommend avoiding orders when temperatures exceed 80°F (27°C) or fall below 32°F (0°C) unless someone is available to receive the package immediately.

Please monitor your tracking information and retrieve your package as soon as possible after delivery. Live cultures left outdoors or in a mailbox during extreme temperatures may not survive.

In the unlikely event your culture arrives dead or with significantly fewer live Daphnia magna than expected, all required documentation must be submitted within 2 hours of the recorded delivery time.

Claims must include:

• A minimum 15-second close-up video (still photos are not accepted).
• The original unopened, tamper-sealed container with the intact seal clearly visible.
• A flashlight shining from the side or underneath while gently swirling the contents.
• The entire container visible throughout the video.

Because Daphnia magna may settle to the bottom or cling to the sides of the container during transit, they can be difficult to see under normal lighting.

Documentation must be submitted before the container is opened, altered, or transferred, as we cannot verify the original condition after the tamper seal has been broken.

Approved claims may qualify for:

• A refund excluding the non-refundable shipping cost, where permitted by marketplace policy.
• One replacement culture with a future paid order.

Shipping costs are non-refundable because they are paid directly to the carrier and cannot be recovered.

• Green water naturally varies in color depending on culture density and harvesting schedule.
• Quantities are estimated at the time of packing.
• A feeding pipette is recommended for accurate harvesting.
