Up for sale is a collection of Disney movie-related albums from 1949 and 1950. All are part of the RCA Victor Youth Series. They are as follows:
Snow White: This specific RCA Victor Youth Series 78 RPM record set was produced in 1949. While the original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs soundtrack envelope set was pioneered by Walt Disney and RCA Victor in 1938 (catalog number J-8), this particular version with the blue border and the yellow
"RCA Victor Youth Series • Non-Breakable" header banner is the catalog number Y-17 reissue released in 1949. The 3,! 10” records are dusty but in good condition with no scratching or spindle wear showing.
Treasure Island: This is a vintage 1950 audio adaptation 2-record album of Walt Disney's Treasure Island, released by RCA Victor under catalog number Y-416. It was specifically produced as part of their famous "Little Nipper Series" aimed at children. The 2 10” records seem to be in excellent condition with no scratching or spindle wear showing.
Cinderella 78 rpm: Disney and RCA Victor produced this specific Cinderella 78 RPM storybook album (Catalog No. Y-399) in 1949, timed for promotional release ahead of the animated film's theatrical debut in early 1950. The 2- record set features a 24-page read-along booklet built directly into the sleeve packaging and stars llene Woods, the original voice of Cinderella. The 2 10” records show scratches and spindle wear.
Cinderella 45 rpm (black vinyl):
This RCA Victor 45 RPM storybook record album (Catalog number: WY-399) was produced and released in 1949 as part of the popular "Little Nipper Series", this read-along vinyl set features llene Woods and a full cast. Although Walt Disney's animated film Cinderella did not officially premiere until February 1950, RCA Victor released this multi-disc preview record in late 1949 to drum up massive excitement for the upcoming theatrical release.
The 2 7” records show scratches and maybe warpage.
