Beautiful set of three collectible Chinese ethnic-costume dolls in their original “Ethnic Nationalities of China” presentation boxes.
Each doll wears a different traditional costume featuring richly colored fabric, embroidered patterns and elaborate decorative details. Features include ornate headdresses, tassels, pom-poms, silver-tone ornaments, painted facial features and long black hair.
The set includes:
- One doll in a full-length red costume with an ornate headdress and silver-tone coin-style decorations
- One doll in a red and purple embroidered costume with a large decorative headdress, colorful pom-poms and tassels
- One doll in a yellow, turquoise and multicolored costume with a striped skirt and red-and-yellow headdress
The original bilingual packaging celebrates China’s 56 ethnic nationalities and lists the nationalities in Chinese and English. The boxes also feature colorful traditional artwork. The specific nationality represented by each individual doll is not identified, so the dolls are being sold exactly as shown.
Condition: These dolls have been kept in their original boxes since purchase and have never been displayed. They were removed for these listing photographs. The dolls appear unused and exceptionally well preserved, with bright fabrics, intact hair and detailed costume accessories. No obvious stains, tears, cracks or missing pieces were observed.
