This is the October27, 1976program from the performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece “Il Trovatore”at Lincoln Center in New York City! The opera featured famedtenor Luciano Pavarotti as the mysterious troubadour Manrico,sopranoRenata Scotto as Leonore,baritoneMatteo Manuguerraas nefarious Count Di Luna,and mezzo-soprano Shirley Verrett as the mysterious old gypsy Azucena, with legendary maestro Gianandrea Gavazzeni conducting. As shown in the photos, this vintage opera program is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling. The program is complete and remains stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has nice clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears.
