Original British edition of MAD Magazine, issue no. 73, published by Thorpe & Porter in February 1968.This issue has a painted Norman Mingo cover showing a court jester performing before a gathering of political and public figures, with Alfred E. The British issue combines this cover with features selected from several American editions, giving it a distinct contents line-up.The issue includes work by several established MAD contributors, including Mort Drucker, Don Martin, Dave Berg, Antonio Prohías, George Woodbridge and Sergio Aragonés.ConditionFair to Good reading condition.There is pronounced age toning, foxing, surface dirt and general handling wear. The covers have creases, small edge tears, chips and spine wear. There is a blue-ink scribble near Alfred on the front cover and further blue-ink writing near the bottom of the back cover.The back cover also has edge wear, creasing and damage around the upper-right corner. Internal pages are browned with scattered spotting and handling marks.The photographed pages remain readable, and no detached pages are shown.
