Offered for sale by Odin Art & Collectables is this impressive Lladró "Father Time" porcelain figurine, model #6696, created for the Inspiration Millennium 1999 collection.

This distinctive Lladró sculpture portrays Father Time as a wise, bearded figure holding an hourglass in one hand and a staff in the other. His flowing blue robes are decorated with raised symbols, dates and imagery representing the passage of time and the approaching new millennium.

The piece is approximately 10.75 inches tall and comes with its original Lladró box and fitted protective packaging and filled out original paperwork.

"Father Time" was created as part of Lladró's Millennium 1999 series and incorporates numerous visual references to the passage of time.

The figure carries a traditional hourglass, one of the best-known symbols of time, while supporting himself with a sculpted staff decorated with vine-like details. His long white beard and flowing robes give him the classical appearance associated with Father Time.

The back of the blue robe is especially interesting, featuring raised numbers, symbols and dates worked directly into the porcelain design. The year 2000 is prominently displayed, connecting the sculpture directly with the transition into the new millennium.

The underside bears the authentic blue LLADRÓ – Hand Made in Spain backstamp together with the Inspiration Millennium 1999 marking.
