Weighing approximately 20 pounds and measuring a massive 14 inches by 13 inches, this extra-large cabinet specimen features a dense blanket of hundreds of interlocking hexagonal quartz crystals. Underneath the natural pocket coating, this piece features highly desirable color zoning, showcasing distinct purple amethystine hues and deep rootbeer-to-black cap terminations. The centerpiece crystal exhibits beautiful horizontal growth striations and fantastic geometric crystal faces. It was extracted directly alongside an even deeper purple companion piece from the same pocket.This specimen is being offered in its authentic, raw "as-dug" condition, boasting a natural golden-brown matrix of microcline feldspar and pocket clay.
