Up for sale is a magnificent, large Native American Hopi double-sided "spinner" pendant. Crafted entirely out of solid sterling silver using the traditional Hopi overlay technique.The central shield mechanical pin allows the pendant to rotate smoothly, offering two distinct designs:Side A: A highly detailed Sunface (Tawa) design framed by radiating feathers/sun rays.Side B: A classic Kokopelli figure playing his flute within a stylized Southwestern pueblo structure, complete with a traditional rain cloud symbol at the peak.
Craftsmanship & Artist: This exact design and framework are attributed to the notable Second Mesa Hopi silversmith Cheryl Wadsworth Soohafyah. The oxidized recessed background features a gorgeous, hand-hammered chiseled "matting" texture that gives it beautiful visual contrast.Condition: Excellent vintage estate condition. The spinner mechanism works perfectly. Please note that the pendant does not currently have a hanging bale/loop and is being sold exactly as pictured.
