Mid 20th Century, 24 inch tall Pair of Chinese Marked Porcelain Vase with Landscape scene. This is a hand painted piece.  Jingdezhen porcelain is Chinese porcelain produced in or near Jingdezhen in Southern China. Jingdezhen may have produced pottery as early as the sixth century CE, though it is named after the reign name of Emperor Zhenzong, during his reign this area became a major kiln site, around 1004. By the 14th century it had become the largest center of production of Chinese porcelain, and it remained that way, increasing its dominance in subsequent centuries.  It has produced a great variety of pottery and high quality porcelain due to its close to the best quality deposits of petuntse, (weathered volcanic tuff or porcelain stone), in the area. The back sides have chinese characters which has been said to be a poem. There are no chips, cracks, or scratches.  Please remember these are vintage and/or antique items, they are NOT new.  They were Previously owned.
