SELLER CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED MITCHELL 300
A classic Mitchell 300, serviced and tested for someone who wants to fish with it.
I opened the gearcase and removed the old grease, cleaned and lubricated the mechanism, freed the anti-reverse lever, and lubricated the bail. I then bench-tested the reel and mounted it on a rod for casting and retrieval. It cast without problems, the bail worked reliably, the drag was checked during the cast test, and the line wound evenly on the spool.
Included: Mitchell 300 reel with fitted spool, a genuine Mitchell spare spool and case, and the original Mitchell 300/301 instruction and maintenance booklet. This is a usef reel with visible cosmetic wear. See photos for details.
I use genuine Mitchell parts when replacements are needed, including new parts or serviceable parts from donor reels. “Seller Certified” means I personally performed the service and testing described above.
