Castings are casted heavier were the known thin areas are and the water jackets are opened up just a little bit more for more water flow to keep the engine running cool.
Comes with upgraded springs and screw in studs
These are a perfect bolt on replacement for you 305/5.0 Vortec engine
Center Bolt for Valve Covers, and 8 Bolt intake pattern
They fit automotive, industrial, and marine applications
GM typically ran these engines in years from 1996-2001, but in industrial and marine applications they were used much longer
