SpaceX Falcon 9 Model Rocket has its own unique story. On May 30, 2020, astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken climbed aboard their Dragon Crew spacecraft. These people did something no one had ever done before : they rode a reusable commercial rocket to orbit. Thus, it marked the beginning of the Next Space Age.
Until that moment, human space flight had always been the purview of nations. Launching objects and humans into space to 'slip the surly bonds' required more resources and expertise. Neither an individual nor a corporation could afford it. Space flight was expensive. Space flight was difficult. Space flight was a rare commodity. But not anymore. Now, finally, human space flight was attainable with Falcon 9 model rocket.
Revolutionary Invention - SpaceX Falcon 9 Model Rocket
This extraordinary two-stage launch vehicle, designed and manufactured by Space X, is able to safely lift more than 50,000 lbs into orbit. Remarkably, after a successful launch, the first stage returns to Earth for an upright, powered landing and a precision touchdown, ready to launch another payload into orbit. There’s never been anything else like it!
Now, Space X has collaborated with Estes to create a 1:100 scale launchable reproduction of the Falcon 9 rocket with its Dragon Crew spacecraft payload.
And just like the actual Falcon 9 it can be re-launched over and over again!
The fully assembled scale Falcon 9 is composed of molded plastic parts with silk-screened markings and comes ready to fly.
Show off your SpaceX Falcon 9 model rocket with the included custom display stand, or store in its specially designed collectable case.
Every launch of your Estes Falcon 9 rocket will be an event! Though it won’t reach orbit, you can expect launches up to 300 feet on a recommended Estes engine. Recovery is via 18-inch parachute – sorry, powered return to pad is not a model rocket recovery option at this time!
A fantastic model on display or in flight, this Estes and SpaceX Falcon 9 collaboration belongs in your collection today!
Model is ready to fly. Just provide launch pad and motors. No building required. RTF. Also, comes with display stand.
Also, includes collectable box that has satin black finish with chrome highlights. Pictures do not do the box or model justice.
