Description
This is a vintage Washington Redskins (now Commanders) snapback from the Lightwear Headlights™ line of \"Genuine Fiber-Optic Collectible Caps,\" made under the Logo 7 label. Fiber-optic strands run around the team logo, and when you flip the switch inside, the circle and feathers glow with rows of bright points of light. It runs on a single 9-volt battery that clips inside the crown. See video.
It has a burgundy crown with the classic embroidered team logo and feathers on the front, a gold brim, gold eyelets and top button, and a gold plastic snap strap at the back.
The team retired this name and logo in 2020, and working light-up NFL caps from this era are getting hard to find, so it\'s a great pickup for Washington fans or vintage NFL collectors.

Condition
New with tags, never worn. It has been tested and lights up (see the photos and video). Please review all photos, as they are part of the description.
- The original Headlights™ and NFL Game Day hang tags are attached, and the barcode sticker is still on the underbrim.
- A 9V battery is not included and does not ship with one.
- The embroidery, crown, and brim are clean and bright.
- The inside Lightwear instruction panel has a couple of small light discoloration spots.
- Clear glue is visible on the back of the logo inside the crown. That\'s where the fiber-optic strands were attached at the factory, and it\'s normal for these hats.
