A True One-of-a-Kind: Katy Perry Signed “Teenage Dream” Canvas, Personalizednto Q100 Atlanta
This is not a mass-produced autograph or a print-and-sign. This is a large 30” x 30” canvas reproducing Katy Perry’s iconic “Teenage Dream” album cover, personally signed by Katy Perry in black marker with a message written for this canvas alone. It reads “Q100 Hotlanta! Thanks for all your love & support Merry Christmas!” Complete with hand drawn hearts and her signature. These canvas prints are incredibly rare and this one was presented exclusively to Q100 Atlanta.
The original cover art has a story of its own: it’s a painting titled “Cotton Candy Katy”by contemporary artist Will Cotton, known for his surreal, candy-coated landscapes. Perry originally reached out to Cotton in 2010 hoping to buy one of his earlier paintings. He realized who she was and invited her to model for him instead. The resulting portrait became one of the most recognizable album covers in pop music history.
Q100 was Atlanta’s dominant Too 40/CHR radio station from 2001-2019, playing a key role in breaking pop artists throughout the 2000s and 2010s, including Katy Perry during her Teenage Dream Era, one of the best-selling pop albums of all time. This canvas is a singular, irreplaceable artifact of that relationship: a personal, handwritten thank-you from the artist to the station and its audience.
This item comes from the collection of one of the original DJs of 99X, a longtime fixture of Atlanta radio since 1992, with a career spanning 99X, Q99.7, and other major Atlanta stations.
