These were a labor of love for my mom. My mom had the same problem. She has 50+ of the Old World Light Covers. So, we designed these grommets, and 3D printed them for her. She has so many of them and year after year she couldn't use them until this year when we got them all on the tree for her! They are treasures and we are so happy to offer these to help these vintage ornaments live on for a long time!
These are 3D printed gaskets/inserts/grommet used to hold Old World Christmas Vintage Glass Light Cover Ornaments to a strand of lights. They are printed with a special flexible plastic to replicate the original inserts.
They are sold in pack of 25. So, a quantity of 1 is one bag of 25 inserts.
These replacement gaskets or inserts are designed to fit most Old World Christmas Vintage Glass Light Cover ornaments.
However, please note that they may not work with all light cover ornaments in your collection due to potential defects and uniqueness in the glass light cover. Sometimes wiggling a light into the gasket/insert/grommet does help it settle into place.
Key Features:
* Replaces the gasket/insert used to hold the light cover to the Christmas light strand
* Works with standard Christmas light strands. Does not work with light strands with outward notch on outside. Please see picture of light strand that currently does NOT work. We are actively working on a grommet/insert that will accommodate these light strands with a gap for that notch.
* Holds well and should last for a long time
* May not fit all ornaments due to glass cover defects/uniqueness
