Known for his masterful kiln-fired artwork, this piece beautifully showcases one of his iconic signature subjects: a charming winter snowbird/chickadee perched delicately on a snow-dusted branch. Authentic vitreous enamel on copper plate (not a lithograph reproduction) The enamel surface is in excellent vintage condition with rich, vibrant colors and beautifully textured glass-like pooling. There is no visible enamel loss, chipping, or spider-cracking.To verify authenticity, the back of the frame completely exposes the original copper plate, showing the natural dark purple/brown metallic oxidation that occurs uniquely during the high-heat kiln-firing process.
