WW2 Genuine US Army M1 Garand 10 Pocket Ammo Cartridge Belt M1923.
The M-1923 cartridge belt is the defining piece of infantry web gear that carried American GIs through the European and Pacific theaters of World War II. Engineered to distribute the weight of ten 8-round M1 Garand en-bloc clips evenly around the waist, this authentic example survives in remarkably solid condition with fully functional hardware. Featuring distinct wartime soldier stencils on the reverse panels, this piece offers genuine historical character and makes an ideal addition to an advanced WWII field gear rig or rifle display.Condition Report
This original WWII M-1923 cartridge belt is in very good, combat-issued condition. The OD#3 cotton webbing is structurally robust, completely supple, and free of mildew, dry rot, tearing, or perimeter fraying (as documented across images). All 10 pocket flaps open and snap down tightly with their original blackened Lift-the-Dot hardware. The front interlocking metal buckle hooks securely and releases cleanly with zero bending or structural fractures. The lower eyelet grommets are tight with only minor, authentic paint wear exposing base metal. The interior webbing displays crisp, legible period black ink soldier stenciling (LENOUE and R S).
