These tall Afghan cuffs were handmade during the 1900\'s for the nomadic Kuchi tribe of Central Asia. They are vintage tribal-jewelry, not new reproductions.

Each has the distinctively-ornate details of Kuchi bracelets, with an open fretwork, serrated borders, and floral patterns that extend fully around the band. Unusual colored-beads accent the front. All four of the smaller purple beads are shaped like crescents, either by accident or design.Unlike many tall Kuchi bracelets, these do not have the characteristic pin-hinge clasps that open and close fully. Instead, the hand slides through the opening to put on/off, requiring a very small hand/wrist to accomplish this. I have DISCOUNTED the price because of this. These are sturdily handmade bracelets, and do not bend, so there is no \"give.\"
Thy have a warm age-patina with mild wear-patterns. Please note that patina reflects the light when photographed, so items often look brighter in images than they really are.
