PRIMITIVE SCARECROW DOLL, ANTIQUE QUILT, OLD AGED DOILY, FOLK ART SCARECROW DOLL For Sale

I have a prim scarecrow doll for you to consider today. He is one of my smaller dolls but still has a great presence! He can sit or hang by the wire on his back.He measures 21\" tall to the top of his hat.Made from aged osnaburg with his eyes and nose made from painted osnaburg then hand stitched on. His mouth is hand stitched.He wears an aged burlap hat that has a bell at the end with a crumpled ribbon tie and some moss tucked. He has old rope sticking out from his hat for his hair.His jacket is made from an antique quilt with hand stitching around the edges and 2 old buttons down the front. I have added a rusty bell tucked in moss.At his neck I have added a grungy cheesecloth scarf, aged old doily, crumpled ribbon bow with a rusty bell all tucked in moss.His pants are made from the back of an antique quilt with hand stitching around the bottom edges.His old boots are painted and aged. He has old rope coming out from his sleeves and pant legs.Tied to his arm is a aged tag that reads FALL, I have signed and dated the back. I have also signed and dated him on his back.He has been dusted with cinnamon for the prim look.Sit him on a chair or bench, hang him from a hook or cupboard door, sit him with my larger dolls.....so many ideas!What a wonderful addition to your collection or a great gift!
