- Promotes a smoother ride and helps reduce vibration
- Helps prevent irregular tire wear and tire cupping
- May increase tire life by 25%–50%
- May lower tire operating temperatures by 8%–10%
- No pre-balancing required
- One pair balances four tires, wheels, hubs, and drums on a dual-wheel assembly
- Backed by Centramatic's five-year limited manufacturer warranty
How They Work
Hardened Durametal weights and proprietary synthetic dampening fluid move freely inside the sealed outer ring. As the wheel assembly rotates, the media responds to imbalance and redistributes opposite the heavy point, helping bring the tires, wheels, hubs, and drums into equilibrium. Most models begin working at approximately 20–22 mph.
Installation
Remove the wheel, align the balancer using the wheel bolt holes, and reinstall the wheel. Drive-axle balancers mount between the dual wheels. Installation should be completed using the vehicle and wheel manufacturer's approved procedures and torque specifications.
Fitment Notice: Verify the model number, wheel size, bolt-hole count, bolt-circle measurement, axle position, and vehicle application before purchase. Wheel diameter and bolt count alone do not guarantee compatibility. Tire and Alignment Notice
Wheel balancers cannot correct a mis-mounted tire, improperly seated bead, alignment problem, out-of-round tire, or worn suspension component. These conditions should be inspected and corrected for best results. Severely cupped tires may show only marginal improvement because missing tread cannot be restored.
Manufacturer Warranty
Centramatic states that its balancers carry a five-year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship, subject to the manufacturer's complete terms, exclusions, registration requirements, return authorization, inspection, and prepaid-return procedures. Warranty claims must be handled directly with Centramatic; distributors are not authorized to approve or cover manufacturer warranty claims.
