Nylon jaws offer excellent electrical insulation and gentle holding power, and can withstand continuous heat tolerance up to 200F,and intermittent heat to 300F. Jaws are 2.5 wide, 0.5 tall and open to 2.25, and a variety of interchangeable jaws are available. For maximum versatility, the PanaVise 382 base accepts all 300 series Heads and any 5/8 (15.9mm) diameter post. When a garage work shop is not available you can use your Model 381 on any smooth non-porous table, including some types of kitchen tables.
