The defining difference is in the lugs. Traditional Radiomir designs use slender wire-loop strap attachments; the Radiomir 1940 uses substantial, integrated steel lugs that give the watch a more structured profile. It retains the rounded cushion case and exposed crown, without the prominent crown-protection bridge found on a Luminor.
