Pre-Columbian, most likely Peru, hand-made terracotta bi-chrome bird shaped stirrup vessel. Appears to be a bird or chicken with crown and bill or beak, side wings and tail in a light orange with hand-painted white bands and accents with a stirrup handle and a squat tubular spout. Measures approx 10 1/4” long x 7” wide x 7 3/4” at highest. In AS IS condition, note a crack/repair to neck, chipping to the crown, bill and spout, glaze losses throughout commensurate with age and use, please see all photos. A fine addition to any home or collection!
