These capsules are shipped in the closed position - to minimize damage during shipping and for ease of shipping. To open the capsules, you need a strong thumb finger nail or kitchen paring knife to put in the joint between the top and the bottom of the closed capsule. Then whenyou get your thumb nail or paring knife in the joint, you pry it open - but not too far. You have to hold the two pieces apart while you work around the joint with yourfingers to open it. I have never met a capsule I could not open - and I amagirl. ...................... Do not buy them if you are not up to this task...
These capsules are used, hand inspected for quality before shipment, and will not include any cracks or major scratches; but may have small/minor imperfections. There may be a minor mark or two from the Mint; but overall, these capsules are in excellent condition. Hint: If you receive a capsule with a mark, place the mark over an area of the coin that is not just the plain fluid field - in other words, place it over Lady Liberty or the Eagle, and it will not be as visible.

> Why do I use stock photos? Like most sellers on , I use stock photos. I have found it virtually impossible to take a photo of each and every item I sell and then attach it to an sale.
