This exquisite antique 206 page book has been lovingly read and extremely WELL cared for. The contents include...Adventures In Wonderland & Through The Looking Glass along with an Introduction.Complete and unabridged, in its original unaltered form. There are beautiful black and white illustrations throughout the book.
The book is in VERY GOOD antique [used] condition with beautiful deep blue boards. Cover art on the front is undamaged and richly colored, unmarked. The boards have some edgewear, and the canvas on the spine of the book at the very top and bottom edge shows some denting inwards and there is some SLIGHT fraying from sitting on a shelf/being pulled from shelf over years. The inner binding of the pages is in excellent shape- there are no loose or unglued pages whatsoever, very tight, making the book quite readable and not fragile as is otherwise typical of this era of books. Inner pages tight, firmly bound. There is some childish name writing on the first & last blank inner pages with the name of the owner and her teacher [see last pics] in faint pencil.Page 1 has Alice\'s Adventures In Wonderland written in pencil in cursive letters over the printed title of Alice\'s Adventures In Wonderland. No pen marks. No bent pages but a few very minor edge tears less than .25\" long. Pages 82- 99 have a small brown stain at the bottom of the page which is not on the type. It looks like a small food stain that seeped through the pages- quite minor. See pic #20 as an example.
No missing, torn, or creased pages.
Paper of the pages is very faintly turned a light beige with time but there is no foxing or browning at edges.
Back side of the canvas hardcover has extremely faint number 4s written in white appears to be faded chalk. See pic 21.
A very handsome example of this title in collectible condition without excessive wear. Important, scarce edition. Presents well on the shelf. Would make a wonderful gift for a collector or scholar!

I strive to give you the best service possible. I am not a dealer or professional, just a lifelong collector and enthusiast. I only list items that I think are unique and of good quality. I represent my items as accurately and clearly as I can, and believe it is always better for you to have too much information than not enough! Please ask any questions before offerding, I will happily respond.
Remember, these are vintage items and will have reasonable signs of age and wear which only adds to their personality, appeal and \"funky vintage-ness\". They are not in their original boxes unless noted. I do not excessively clean items or remove age patina, as I want to leave that option for the buyer.
I will promptly ship your item within1 business day and post great positive response for you once payment is received.
Go Green! I try to re-use clean, almost-new shipping boxes when possible.
