π₯ RARE 2006 Quest AT Raging Inferno DT β Dimple Technology Distance Driver π₯π Vintage Quest AT Experimental Disc Golf History
NEW 2006 Quest Advanced Technologies Raging Inferno DT β a highly unusual high-speed distance driver featuring Quest AT\'s innovative Dimple Technology (DT).
This particular Raging Inferno DT is especially interesting for collectors because it features the distinctive DT textured/dimpled construction on the rim on BOTH the top AND bottom. That unusual dual-sided DT configuration gives this disc a remarkably distinctive feel and appearance and makes it an especially compelling example of Quest AT\'s experimental approach to disc design.
The disc features a beautiful Swirly Blue & White Speckled plastic with an attractive Silver Metallic Foil stamp. Combined with its NEW / Never Thrown condition, this is a standout vintage Quest AT collectible.

π 2006 Quest AT History
The Raging Inferno DT was officially PDGA approved on November 20, 2006 under certification number 06-49.
Quest AT was known for developing unconventional disc designs that experimented with materials, geometry, grip characteristics, and aerodynamics. The Raging Inferno DT is a perfect example of that philosophy, incorporating Dimple Technology into the disc\'s surface rather than relying solely on the smooth geometry found on conventional drivers.
Quest AT is no longer manufacturing discs, adding significant historical interest to surviving examples of these experimental molds.
π DIMPLE TECHNOLOGY β THE COLLECTOR HOOK
The defining feature of the Raging Inferno DT is its unusual textured, dimpled surface technology.
Rather than simply being a cosmetic feature, the DT concept was intended to explore how surface texture could influence the disc\'s aerodynamic characteristics. The Raging Inferno DT incorporates this distinctive texture around the disc\'s rim and flight surfaces.
This example is particularly noteworthy because the DT texture is present on BOTH the top and bottom of the rim. That unusual construction is something collectors of experimental Quest AT discs will want to examine closely in the photographs.

The Raging Inferno DT was designed as a high-speed distance driver, with its unconventional DT surface intended to provide a different aerodynamic profile from traditional smooth-surface drivers.
Approximate published flight characteristics vary by source and plastic/weight, but versions are generally described in the neighborhood of:
Speed 12β12.5 | Glide 4 | Turn -2 to +2 | Fade 2
Because this is a vintage experimental mold, individual examples can exhibit differences in flight characteristics depending on weight, plastic, and run.
