19th Century (1889) Etching by artist Robert Crannell Minor (misspelled Miner on the print)
VERY RARE PIECE!
Copyright by Fishel Adler Schwartz of New York in 1889
Titled \"Early Morning on the Susquehanna River\"
This etching was appraised in 1937 at $150.00 before framing. You can see the original note in the last picture.
The print shows noticeable small brown and white spots and environmental staining from moisture and wood-backing acids over the last 130 years. There are a few other nicks in the piece. Please look closely at all the pictures for detailed condition. The mat is pretty worn with lots of scratches.
It is in the original frame (although there is no glass) that was purchased from The Brown Shop in Pasadena, CA (1907-1963)
Frame is worn but good for it\'s age.
Print measures 26.5\" x 19\" + margins. Frame 36.5\" x 27\"
Please feel free to ask any questions.
If you don\'t want the frame, I can ship just the print and discount the shipping!
