ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers 1971 1st Press COC 59100 Andy Warhol Zipper Cover
Sticky Fingers is the Rolling Stones' 1971 album and the first release on their own Rolling Stones Records label. It includes "Brown Sugar," "Wild Horses," "Can't You Hear Me Knocking," "Sister Morphine" and "Moonlight Mile," and it reached number one in the US. Recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and Olympic Studios, London.
This is an original US first pressing on Rolling Stones Records, COC 59100.

Cover concept and photography by Andy Warhol, with a working metal zipper. Album design and graphics by Craigbraunc Inc. Jacket printed by Sound Packaging Corp. The back cover carries the line "Distributed by Atco Records, Division of Atlantic Recording Corporation."

Original printed inner sleeve, COC-59100. Tongue logo and credits on one side, band photograph on the other.
An Andy Warhol stamp is printed inside the jacket. Both sides carry hand-etched "Rolling Stones Records" in the runout.

— Evident groove wear with fading gloss and dull spots. Tons of hairlines, surface scratches and rubbing marks with multiple audible scratches. Lots of clicks, pops, crackle and heavy surface noise. Record plays through with strong possibility of some skips. A feelable scratch on side one is shown in the photos. On a Technics SL-1200 this copy plays through and tracks, with clicks. Results vary with turntable, tonearm and stylus.

— Age wear. The surface layer is torn and lifting at the upper right, with creasing. Ink loss along the right edge, edge and corner wear, seam wear and toning. The zipper works, with light oxidation at the top of the zipper opening.
Inner Sleeve: VG+
— Original printed inner sleeve. Light toning and soiling along the edges, seams intact.
