A striking and highly decorative example of late-1970s Polish poster design by one of the best-known Polish illustrators and poster artists associated with the tradition of the Polish School of Posters.
The poster was published by the Polish Tourist Information Centre and printed by Poznańskie Zakłady Graficzne im. M. Kasprzaka. The lower margin includes the original printing information, including 1064/79 and a stated print run of 4,000 copies.
The design features a large stag with antlers, a hunting rifle and hunter’s hat, making it especially appealing not only to collectors of Polish poster art and works by Rafał Olbiński, but also to collectors of hunting, wildlife and vintage sporting art.
