Rare Antique British Carved Wood Mantel/Shelf Clock 1885 - 1909 For Sale

Rare Antique British Carved Wood Mantle/Shelf Clock 1885 - 1909..Manufactured by BUCC the \"British United Clock Co.\" who were only in business for 24 years and is almost a copy of an American Ansonia clock. This BUCC has an oak case which is rare as most of there clocks were made smaller and used pressed metal cases. The clock has hour and half hour strike. There is no key with the clock but it does come with its pendulum. The case is in good condition bar a split to the front above the dial and years of dust and dirt in the nooks and crannies. It ticks away happily and is keeping time. The strike works but the mechanism is noisy and doesn\'t always strike the correct number of times at the hour so it will need a clean, oil and some adjustment. Please study pictures and any questions welcome.Selling for parts or repair due to needing a service.
