Original c.1849-1851 sixth-plate daguerreotype photo of an engraving of the famous poet William Cullen Bryant. I believe this is the W. Pate steel engraving that appeared in Putnam's Monthly.
In a full case that is 3.75" x 3.25" when closed.
Original unbroken seals. Excellent antique condition. Any spots on my photo are on / under the glass and not on the image. Spine of the case is splitting, but still intact.
