This rare extra-large antique German porcelain jewelry box was made around the early 1900s by Porzellanfabrik Kalk GmbH (Geyer & Körbitz) in Eisenberg/Kalk. Pieces of this size and quality are extremely scarce and highly collectible.
The box features exquisite hand-painted cherubs (putti), ornate 24K-style gold gilt, and delicate floral detailing over a soft pale blue porcelain body. The raised gold decoration and fine brushwork reflect the high craftsmanship characteristic of Kalk's early production.
This is a substantial piece, measuring approximately 7" x 5" x 3", much larger than most surviving trinket/jewelry boxes from the period — making it a standout display piece.
