For sale we have a near perfect, rare antique Northwood Cranberry Ribbed Christmas Snowflake Victorian Opalescent Art Glass Pitcher. This pitcher is ornate, seasonal, and fancy with a very strong and crisp Snowflake pattern accented with a crisp Lattice pattern on the lower area of the pitcher. This is a head turning example that has one of the best strikes we have seen. The pitcher has a large solid clear applied handle. There are no issues where the handle was applied. This pitcher has a rich bright red or deep cranberry coloration accent with a rich deep white opalescent with no fading seen to the coloration or pattern. This pitcher was used for water, ice tea or lemonade. We date this pitcher to the late 1800s or the early 1900s. This beauty is original, untouched and fresh to the market. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, scratches or scuffs and no stains. We only see a very lite thin scratch or two and some outer base wear. We also see two minor in the making a adhered pieces of glass in the center and outer base area. We pictured and mention this for complete accuracy. This pitchers condition is incredible for its intended use. The height is approx. 9\" at its highest point. The ruffled opening is approx. 5\" at its widest point. This is a nice very attractive head turning example, that\'s in very nice condition with the look.
