Antique Norwegian HØØK glass fishing float in a beautiful aqua / sea-green colour.
Approximately 4 inches / 9.5–10 cm in diameter.
A strong hand-blown example with numerous trapped air bubbles, elongated bubbles, glass striations and irregularities throughout. The large worked seal/pontil area is especially distinctive, with a darker central feature and strong surrounding bubble formation.
Marked HØØK.
The float has not been assigned to a specific Norwegian glassworks in this listing, as I do not have sufficiently secure documentation linking this particular HØØK mark to one confirmed factory.
A very attractive example for collectors of Norwegian glass fishing floats, maritime antiques and hand-blown glass.
