A rare early 20th century (circa 1920) antique solid sterling silver shoehorn.
The handle is decorated with finely hand-painted pink roses and forget-me-nots, arranged in swags with blue ribbon, with further flowers issuing from a vase, all set against a white guilloché enamel ground.
The piece retains its original gilding, with the reverse stamped STERLING.
