DESCRIPTION: This Rare, Collectible, Vintage, Y2K set is highly sought-after and archival quality from Victoria\'s Secret Home collection, only available late 90s-early 00s. The reversible king comforter and accent pillow have no stains, rips, or fading and are perfect for your gothic romance, vampirecore, or whimsigoth bedroom! One side is plush black/red velvet with a gorgeous rose pattern, the reverse is solid, rich, crimson satin. Ultimate luxe!
The matching Ultra Rare 12x12\" Accent Pillow has all its original, fringed, black bead trim.
CARE: I searched for months before buying this bedding, new, from Victoria\'s Secret. The pattern/color was hard to find, but also far fewer king size were made, so they were rare!
When I finally found this bedding, I treasured it! My decorative Winter bedspread, it was \'turned down\' when sleeping, used in a dark bedroom, dry cleaned, and vacuum sealed for storage in a cool, dark closet when out of season. It is in excellent condition for its age.
CONDITION: Pre-owned, gently used. The velvet pile retains its lustrous color and is un-matted, it has several \"circle\" patterns in the crush which were there when purchased new and nearly invisible. (See pics.) The satin color is vibrant and solid, with no snags or pulls, and has minimal pilling. The accent pillow is both Ultra Rare and in highly collectible condition: both velvet and satin sides retain their original color; all original black bead fringe is fully intact with no missing beads or strands, no tangles and no tears- a truly rare condition. (note: advertised by V.S. as 12x12\", pillow is actually closer to 14\" and has a zipper so the inner pillow may be washed separately. )
CLEANING: Dry clean only, to preserve the delicate beading, prevent velvet from matting, or the satin from pulling. Spot clean with a damp, soft microfiber cloth using only a tiny drop of gentle detergent for small stains. Avoid heat and never iron the velvet: it will crush the pile permanently.
Bright lights required to photo details make this set look pinkish; however this is a rich, vibrant crimson and black. The velvet is pure decadence while the satin is vibrant and its sheen shifts beautifully in the light.
