A highly collectable, very rare early antique No. 2 ' THE WADE LATHE '. As far as I can determine, this is the earliest pre patent, circa 1922C.A.V. back geared screw cuttingtype model #2. Note the brass label stating "PATENT APPLIED FOR", which was granted in 1924 and they were subsequently imported to New York and sold for $58.00.These lathes were designed for jewelers, turning small parts, brass ammunition casings, magnetos, and making screws up to 70 threads per inch.This also includes a 1/3hp Dayton motor and drive beltand it appears there is an old replacement knob at the end of the tailstock.Rest assured it will be packed with care to ensure safe delivery.Please see the pics which do not doit justice.
