Rare HTF 1930\'s Baby Shirley Temple Composition Doll- Large 22\"- Original Paint For Sale

This doll a 1930\'s Baby Shirley Temple composition doll that is large at 22 inches tall with original paint. It features blonde curly hair, green eyes that not only open and close, but move from side to side as the doll turns (flirty eyes), and a light crazed complexion. This vintage doll is from the Shirley Temple franchise. Made in the United States for 2 years only 1935-1936, this girl doll from the Ideal brand is a rare find for collectors of antique dolls.
Doll has been cleaned and craze lines filled with acrylic paint to help hide them. She has flirty eyes that still work and all of her eye lashes. Her face paint and blush are original. I added pupils to her crazed eyes and touched up her lips. She is wearing a vintage mommy-made dress and underclothes from the correct time period. I washed them, so they are clean. The dress is a very delicate fabric and has small holes as shown in the pictures, but it is fitting to the time period and looks great on her. I added pink and cream vintage baby booties. I washed her original mohair wig and restyled it. It is missing hair in some places but displays really well. She has a reproduction Shirley pin. She has a good size area on one arm of cracked compo. I left it alone. This doll is so rare that I\'d rather leave her original than remove her composition and devalue her.
She\'s a beautiful doll to display and a rare piece of the Shirley Temple doll collection. She looks great to be 90 years old! Pictures are the largest part of this listing. Ask for more if needed and ask questions.
